Proud to Have Supervised Political and Election Scenes for WOWOW’s New Drama!

Announcement: The news is finally out!
I’m honored to announce that I served as the political and election consultant for the upcoming TV drama “Kaibutsu”, which premieres on Sunday, July 6 at 10:00 PM on WOWOW (broadcast and streaming).
My name will appear in the end credits of each episode.

Originally produced by Korea’s major studio SLL—known for hits like “Itaewon Class(이태원 클라쓰)” and “Reborn Rich(재벌집 막내아들)”—“Kaibutsu(괴물)” is the Japanese remake of the critically acclaimed 2021 psychological thriller. The original won Best Drama, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards, earning praise as a nearly flawless drama.

While “Kaibutsu” is not a political drama but a psychological thriller, I was asked to help ensure the portrayal of a prefectural assembly member—played by the renowned Atsuko Takahata—felt authentic and grounded from a real politician’s perspective.

It was a truly fascinating project, and I’m personally looking forward to watching the show!
